Qualifications

• Serve Safe certification is required.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Must be able to taste and smell foods.
• Knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield.
• Possess and maintain culinary tools (knives).
• Must tolerate high temperatures.
• Must tolerate industry standard cleaning chemicals.
• Present a well-groomed appearance.
• Other duties, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide fast, friendly, professional service.
• Maintain up-to-date information on food items and preparation techniques.
• Prepare food items per guest order, including breakfast, entrees, and desserts.
• Employ proper cooking methods and ensure safe handling of foods.
• Slice, dice, chop and prepare raw products.
• Carve meats, portion plates, add gravies/sauces, garnish as required.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining a sanitary work area.
• Keep designated areas clean and stocked; coordinate with warehouse for supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment per safety guidelines.
• Know and promote current events and programs; assist guests with directions as needed.
• All duties may be adjusted as needed by management.
