Job summary

Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a bartender to join a dynamic team at our Beech Mountain, NC location. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years bartender experience and excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include preparing drinks, taking orders, and ensuring a welcoming bar experience for guests. Candidate should be reliable, able to handle busy shifts, and willing to comply with all regulatory requirements and safety

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Relevant training certificate.
• Reliable transportation required with the ability to navigate inclement weather.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Check customer’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
