Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an Overhead Transmission Apprentice Lineperson to help build, maintain, and repair high‑voltage transmission lines under supervision. A willingness to travel is required and travel away from home should be expected.

This full‑time, non‑exempt role involves operating aerial trucks and digger derricks, erecting poles, and supporting transmission and substation work on 69 kV–500 kV projects.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to climb wood/steel poles and lattice towers without Boom/Bucket Truck.
• Able to work at heights up to and above 100 feet.
• Willing to travel and work away from home.

Responsibilities

• Assists with installation, connection, and rigging in a high-voltage environment.
• Erect, frame, and replaces poles.
• Proper and safe operation of aerial trucks, digger derricks, and associated equipment.
• Assists in the construction of transmission and substation facilities.
• Works on structure types of transmission lines from 69 kV to 500 kV.
• Establishing OSHA and company/customer safety requirements
