Job summary

Henpen Corporation in Charleston, SC, seeks a High Voltage Test Engineer to lead electrical testing of cables during production and prior to delivery. You will develop detailed test plans, issue final reports, and ensure testing meets customer and development project requirements.

As technical lead, you will coordinate with customers, oversee calibration and maintenance of HV testing equipment, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical testing within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving high voltage systems.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead high voltage laboratory testing for cable projects and coordinate with customer representatives.
• Provide technical leadership and support to HV lab personnel.
• Prepare and issue detailed test plans and final reports for customer orders and development projects.
• Calculate equipment requirements and determine testing parameters; arrange rental equipment when needed.
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration of testing equipment; develop and maintain test procedures and work instructions.
• Lead project start-ups and participate in cross-functional teams; ensure test specifications are finalized before testing.
