Job summary

Vanderbilt University is seeking a Power Distribution Specialist within the Maintenance and Operations division to operate and maintain the university's high and medium voltage electrical distribution for campus and Medical Center. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in electrical operations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High voltage experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Test 13,800 volt and 4,160 volt transformers, breakers and switches.
• Calibrate and replace 13,800 volt and 4,160 volt relays.
• Operate 69,000 volt and lower equipment during switching procedures.
• Inspect switch gear and cables in underground vaults and tunnels.
• Install and test meters, motors and cables; read drawings and revisions.
