Job summary

Gettle Incorporated is seeking an experienced High Voltage Lineman to perform maintenance on overhead and underground electrical systems above 1000 volts. The role involves routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance across various HV systems and requires climbing, lifting up to 80 pounds, and working in challenging weather conditions.

Essential duties include erecting poles, rigging, and operating bucket trucks, with DOT/CDL compliance and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years’ experience as a lineman preferred.
• CDL license and valid driver’s license required for travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage manpower or material needs with project managers.
• Erect and replace poles; rigging of high voltage equipment.
• Operate lifts and bucket trucks and use hand/power tools.
• Comply with DOT regulations and travel to sites as needed.
• Work safely and respond to after-hours emergencies.
