Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in New Castle, PA is seeking a High Voltage Estimator to lead the estimating process for complex electrical projects. You will prepare estimates, bid reviews, and cost analyses, coordinating with project managers and the chief estimator to ensure accurate labor and material costs.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of electrical construction estimating experience, strong knowledge of NEC, and proficiency with Accu-Bid/ConEst/BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or related field.
• 1–5 years of electrical construction experience in estimating.
• Must read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes.
• Experience with project lifecycle and basic project management.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills and written/verbal communication.
• Estimating software knowledge recommended (Accu-Bid/ConEst/BlueBeam).
• Substation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate preparation, proposals, bid reviews, and cost/value analysis in line with company policies.
• Review bid documents with project manager and chief estimator to determine expenses and labor rates.
• Utilize estimating software to estimate projects and prepare professional documents.
• Survey job sites as needed to determine scope and best plan.
• Assist in interview procurement, proposals for RFPs, and related reports.
• Ensure estimates meet customer and company conditions for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with purchasing and design departments to control costs and ensure constructibility.
