Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled electrician to install, maintain, service, and troubleshoot high- and low-voltage electrical systems across facilities. This role ensures continuous, smooth operation of Universal Orlando facilities and supports life-safety systems park-wide.

Responsibilities include servicing transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, and egress lighting, plus coordination with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Master or Journeyman Electrical License required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, service and repair high voltage transformers, switchgear and equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and infrared high voltage equipment park-wide.
• Maintain park-wide life safety electrical systems including UPS, generators and egress lighting.
• Maintain main switchgear, main breakers, sub panels and branch circuits.
• Assist vendors on transformer oil analysis and infrared testing; quality inspections of UPS and generators.
• Keep outage logs and communicate outage reasons to Facilities Manager.
• Point of contact on high voltage operations site-wide.
