Group-CBS in Indianapolis, IN seeks a High Voltage Apparatus Specialist to inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission HV equipment. The role is shop-based with occasional travel to customer sites and substations.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, regulators, and reclosers, plus strong electrical testing and diagnostic skills. Must relocate within 60 miles if needed and pass screenings.

FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-Time
The High Voltage Apparatus Specialist performs inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, reconditioning, and commissioning activities on low, medium, and high-voltage electrical apparatus. This position is primarily shop-based but requires occasional travel to customer sites and substations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, regulators, and reclosers, along with strong electrical testing and diagnostic skills.
Must be able to obtain:
A successful candidate will have hands-on experience servicing high-voltage power equipment, strong diagnostic and testing capabilities, knowledge of NETA/PEARL standards, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, documentation quality, and customer service.
