Job summary

Elia Group is seeking an experienced HV drafting specialist to secure accurate as-built documentation for high voltage projects across Belgium. You will manage drawings, perform quality checks, and coordinate with field technicians and engineers to ensure integrity and timely project handovers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, at least three years of drafting experience, and proficiency in MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a drafter/designer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics.
• Proficient in MicroStation; knowledge of Substation software and 3D drafting is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage documentation and drawings for Engineering projects and update HV as-built drawings.
• Update HV as-built drawings after redlining or field work.
• Perform quality checks on HV drawings for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure documentation quality.
• Participate in project handovers and knowledge transfer at substations or Elia Monnoyer.
• Monitor project schedules and maintain deadlines.
• Apply HV drafting methodologies across technical disciplines.
• Maintain archiving of drawings and metadata in ProjectWise.
