MAC.BID seeks a High Value Scanner in Rock Hill, SC to inspect and test high-value electronics, scan items for online auctions, and ensure accurate product listings. You will upload data using proprietary software and help maintain listing quality.

This on-site role reports to the Scan Team Lead and requires attention to detail and reliable work habits. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• On-site availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

HIGH VALUE SCANNER (HVS)

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The HVS role tests and inspects items of higher value, such as iPads, smart watches, and cell phones, to assess their condition before uploading them for auction. This role uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test electronics
• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot
• Must have a high level of integrity
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
