We are looking for self-motivated independent contractors (1099) who can work in their local area. This role can supplement your income or become your primary source.

Experience in Real Estate, Insurance Adjusting, Construction, or Home Appraisals is a plus. Familiarity with CAD, Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, or similar diagramming tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Manage your work schedule and complete reports online.
• Visit properties, take photos, measurements, and note issues for underwriters.
• Coordinate with homeowners and insurance agents via phone, email, and in person.
• Identify construction materials and features of homes.
• Estimate replacement values and identify hazards.
• Upload and communicate findings through Loss Control 360 on the Signature website.

Requirements

• Professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Smartphone, tablet, and Windows-based PC.
• High-speed internet and a digital camera (16MP or higher).
• Reliable vehicle with Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• Degree (BA or BS) preferred but not required.
• Experience in residential inspections, loss control, underwriting, or construction is desirable.
