Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking an experienced Field Consultant to perform on-site High Value Property Surveys across Coastal Maine. This 1099 independent contractor role requires strong construction knowledge and the ability to professionally engage homeowners and insurance agents.

Qualifications

Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector.
Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high-end home appraisals.
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features.

Responsibilities

Interact with homeowners and insurance agents by phone, email, and in person.
Schedule and conduct on-site inspections of high-value residential properties per carrier guidelines.
Document construction features, finishes, and architectural elements.
Capture measurements, photos, and site observations.
Identify underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures.
Develop replacement cost estimates reflecting quality materials and craftmanship.
Submit completed, timely web-based reports meeting carrier guidelines.
Communicate findings via Loss Control 360 on Signature site.
