Job summary
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company advancing military capabilities with AI and advanced imaging. As a Manufacturing Engineer in High Vacuum and Cryogenic Systems, you will own and optimize vacuum processing lines for IDCA production, bridging design and production to improve reliability, yields, and throughput while safeguarding ultra-high vacuum systems.
You will act as SME for RGA, specify HV hardware, lead CAPA, write SOPs, and collaborate with Design, Quality, and Facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field with HV manufacturing experience.
- 4+ years in high- or ultra-high vacuum manufacturing environments (HV/UHV).
- Strong understanding of vacuum physics, gas dynamics, and outgassing.
- Experience with helium leak detection methods.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and data tools; SPC a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize vacuum bakeout, pinch-off, and cryogenic processing for IDCA.
- Drive process reliability, yields, and throughput; ensure UHV integrity.
- Act as SME for RGA measurements; analyze spectra for contaminants.
- Specify and integrate HV hardware and leak detectors; design tooling.
- Lead RCCA investigations and implement CAPA.
- Author SOPs, process routers, and implement SPC; collaborate cross-functionally.
