Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Lab Technician in Boulder, CO for a production-focused analytical laboratory operating under ISO 17025 standards. You will prepare, process, and manage test samples, support microbiology and PCR workflows, and help maintain safe, clean lab operations.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with diverse sample types, and willingness to work overtime as needed to meet TAT. This onsite position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced production lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computers and Excel.
• Ability to follow procedures and document work.
• Comfort working in production-based lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Split and homogenize samples per SOPs and quality systems.
• Prepare samples aseptically for microbiology and other tests.
• Support environmental monitoring and maintain lab equipment.
• Log and transfer samples to testing departments with proper documentation.
• Prepare and sterilize media; support media manufacturing.
• Assist with PCR-related workflows and testing preparation.
• Monitor turnaround time and communicate capacity constraints.
