Job summary

Twist Bioscience Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the Reagent Production team in a dynamic, high-throughput laboratory environment in Oregon. You will manufacture high-quality reagents, operate automated equipment, and apply molecular biology methods to support Twist’s production pipeline.

Ideal candidates have relevant lab experience, a biology/chemistry background, and strong documentation and computer skills.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab environment is preferred.
Associates or Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry or related field desired.
Good written and verbal communication skills are critical.
Familiarity with manufacturing/lab software and basic computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

Manufacture high-quality products in a high-throughput manufacturing lab according to SOPs.
Operate lab equipment and robotic systems (e.g., Hamilton Stars, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, thermocyclers).
Apply molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, cloning).
Maintain thorough documentation and update work instructions and templates.
Work independently and safely; follow Lean manufacturing concepts.
