Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited is seeking a Production Planner to join its state-of-the-art facility in Durham. The role focuses on developing and coordinating production plans to support the delivery of advanced technology products, balancing customer demand with materials and capacity across multiple product lines.

You will convert orders and forecasts into achievable schedules, monitor WIP and capacity, and maintain ERP/MRP data while supporting planning meetings to drive on-time

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain or materials control within a manufacturing environment
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven decision making
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production flow understanding
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with customer demand and operational priorities
• Convert customer orders, forecasts and project requirements into achievable manufacturing schedules
• Monitor material availability, capacity constraints and work-in-progress
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP planning data
• Support daily and weekly production planning meetings, providing updates on progress, risks and priorities
• Identify and escalate potential delivery risks to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and schedule adherence
• Contribute to improved production flow, visibility and operational efficiency
