Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join onsite in RTP, NC. You will develop, test, and optimize advanced interconnect solutions supporting AI infrastructure, data centers, and high-performance computing. Work closely with engineering teams and customers from concept to production.

The role emphasizes hands-on SI modeling, PCB design, and collaboration across departments to deliver robust high-speed solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in signal integrity or high-speed digital systems.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (VNAs, TDRs, pattern generators) and SI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of high-speed interconnect solutions through product lifecycle.
• Perform SI modeling, simulation, validation, and troubleshooting for connector and cable systems.
• Develop testing methodologies and verification processes for new products and manufacturing support.
• Design and evaluate PCBs and test fixtures for electrical characterization and validation.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering to solve high-speed transmission challenges.
