Job summary

Vanguard Packaging Inc. is seeking a Digital Operator 2 in Kansas City, MO to manage and assist with production equipment, including setup, operation, cleanup, and ongoing quality monitoring. You will implement improvements to processes and help ensure efficient runs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience operating corrugated production equipment at high speed.
• Experience with C500, 15500, Zund or Euclid machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to produce the highest level of production and quality.
• Reduce waste by following quality standards.
• Maintain efficiency and record production output throughout the entire shift.
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Clean at the end of the production runs.
• Assist in the training of personnel.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and good housekeeping.
• Attendance is an essential duty of the position.
