Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a dedicated machine operator to set up and run corrugation equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will inspect tooling, assist operators, and help maximize throughput across shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the corrugated industry. A comprehensive benefits package is provided and you will join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect tooling before and after run; address repairs to minimize waste.
• Assist Machine Operator in operating machines to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maximize equipment utilization by running at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize scheduling for cost, quality, and service goals.
• Perform continuous quality control by sampling material for size, scoring, slotting, printing and folding.
• Abide by company policies and safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.
