Job summary

Pbna in New York is seeking a production operator to run multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, manage materials, and ensure smooth line changeovers.

You will monitor quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The role involves lifting 20-45 lb cases, standing for long periods, weekend/holiday shifts possible, with emphasis on teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience on high-speed production lines preferred.
• Experience with pallets and forklift operation is a plus.
• Experience operating packing, filler, palletizer or related equipment is beneficial.
• Experience reading schematics and production schedules is helpful.
• Experience with manufacturing computer systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in a food plant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
• Move materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
• Ensure package and product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
• Expedite repairs to line with maintenance as necessary.
• Keep daily records of down time and machine operations.
• Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
