Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating narrow-web flexographic printing presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Proven ability to perform accurate color matching and visual quality inspections.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex job tickets, proofs, and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and calibrate narrow-web printing equipment to meet job specs and timelines.
• Execute complex press runs managing ink viscosity, web tension, and registration.
• Minimize material waste and reduce setup times through proactive troubleshooting.
• Conduct quality audits and correct defects in real-time.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and mechanical adjustments.
• Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments for seamless handoffs.
• Document production metrics like material usage and downtime.
• Mentor junior team members on press operation techniques and safety.
