Job summary

PAC Worldwide in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator to help keep our packaging production lines running smoothly and safely. You will learn to operate and maintain machinery, read work orders, and ensure high-quality outputs for PAC customers worldwide.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams, adjust settings as needed, and pursue efficiency improvements while benefiting from weekly pay, medical benefits, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing work history.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery to fulfill work orders for packaging products.
• Read and interpret work orders, perform load and changeovers, keep machines running smoothly, and report issues promptly.
• Develop expertise in operating PAC machinery and contribute to maintenance tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse and Maintenance teams to maintain production at high levels.

What does a Machine Operator do?

The Machine Operator is essential to maintaining smooth production operations at our manufacturing plant. In this position, you will learn

• How to operate and maintain manufacturing machinery to fulfill work orders of high-quality packaging products for PAC customers around the globe.
• You will read and interpret work order requirements, load and changeover machinery, and keep machines running smoothly; communicating any problems that arise to supervisors in a timely manner.
• You will have the opportunity to become an expert in operating and maintaining PAC machinery.
• You will feel confident jumping in to make adjustments or changes as necessary to maintain production at the highest level, with the support of your Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance teammates.
