Job summary

PAC by ProAmpac is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a 12-hour rotating night shift (8pm–8am) in Middletown, OH. You will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in a safety‑driven environment and contribute to production goals.

Starting pay is $20.75 per hour with a $1.10 shift premium, plus weekly pay and overtime opportunities. Prior manufacturing experience and a mechanical mindset are valued, with growth opportunities available.

• Experience taking raw materials through finished product production.

Description Machine Operator – 12hr Night Shift PAC by ProAmpac is hiring experienced Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. Please note: This is a machine operator role in a manufacturing environment. This is not a forklift position.

12-hour rotating night shift, 8pm to 8am

Weekly Pay!

Starting Pay Rate: $20.75 and up for highly qualified candidates based on experience, skill, and machine proficiency (plus $1.10 shift premium).

What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and at quality standards. Responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment
• Performing machine setup and changeovers
• Reading and following work orders and production specifications
• Completing quality checks and required production documentation
• Troubleshooting basic machine or quality issues
• Understanding machine components including rollers, knives, webs, and unwind systems
• Supporting startup, shutdown, and shift change procedures
• Maintaining a safe and organized work area
• Producing quality products that meet customer specifications

Preferred Qualifications Include

• Previous machine operator experience in manufacturing
• Experience working from raw material through finished product production
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to perform machine-specific preventative maintenance tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
