Job summary

PTR Global in Dover, NH is hiring a Machine Operator / Mail Sorter on a 6-month contract. The role involves operating high-speed inserters, processing materials for envelopes, and meeting daily production goals. You will be trained, stand for long periods, and work shifts across three times.

The position offers a collaborative team environment and safety-focused workplace. Pay is $26–$27 per hour, with full-time consultant benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO per company

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret job orders, production schedules and quality specs.
Attention to detail while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving to troubleshoot equipment.
Good organizational and time management to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Operate high-speed inserters to assemble and insert materials into envelopes or mailers.
Ensure proper setup and adjustment of equipment for different sizes and materials.
Monitor inserters to prevent jams and malfunctions.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of inserters.
Collaborate with production team to meet daily goals.
Verify accuracy and quality of inserted materials.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical problems.
Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
Maintain production records and reports.
