Job summary

Molex is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to develop production test strategies for high‑speed data cables and to support global manufacturing. You will coordinate software upgrades to test systems across regions and work with cross‑functional teams to deploy automated production test systems.

This role requires GD&T, FEA, and DFX knowledge, with strong documentation skills. Ideal candidates have a B.S.

Qualifications

B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related tools.
Solid modeling experience to generate 3D models and 2-D drawings.
Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
Understanding of DFM, DFA and DFX techniques.
2+ years of experience in test and measurement.

Responsibilities

Develop production test strategies to support global manufacturing of high‑speed data cables.
Develop, integrate, and upgrade software for test systems across multiple regions and coordinate activities.
Work with multifunctional teams to deploy automated production test systems worldwide and ensure compliant use.
Create and execute test plans, conduct reviews, perform verification and validation, analyze and document results.
Create test process documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
