Job summary

The Hardy County Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for a coaching/teaching support role for the 2026-2027 school year. A WV Professional Teaching Certificate or a High School Diploma/Equivalency with WVSSAC Certification and Temporary Authorization is required, along with CPR/AED training.

Successful candidates will complete the county and WVDE trainings and pass the district interview. Additional eligibility rules include no recent unsatisfactory evaluations, interview

Qualifications

• West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate or High School Diploma/Equivalency with WVSSAC Certification and Temporary Authorization.
• CPR and AED Training Required.
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Applicants with recent unsatisfactory evaluations are not eligible for consideration.
