Job summary

Vintage High School under Napa Valley Unified School District is seeking a Wrestling Assistant Coach to mentor and develop wrestlers, coordinating with staff, athletes, parents and the Booster Club. The role includes season activities from November through January with some off-season work and requires coaching experience at the high school level along with NFHS certifications and First Aid/CPR training.

A booster stipend is awarded at the end of the season and the district is an equal

Qualifications

• Must be experienced in wrestling and coaching with a track record of working with high school student-athletes.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports, and NFHS Heat and Illness prevention certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coach Wrestling at Vintage High School and develop program through practices and competitions.
• Collaborate with VHS staff, student athletes, parents, administration and Booster Club.
• Season runs November through January with some off-season activities.
