Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey certification (NJDOE) or Substitute Teacher certificate required.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices; develop game strategies and mentoring for student-athletes.
• Develop skill-specific drills and conditioning programs; collaborate with staff on practice plans.
• Attend practices, meets, and events as required by head coach and athletic department.
• Assist in scouting opponents and analyzing game film to maximize team success.
• Uphold district policies and promote sportsmanship, teamwork and inclusive culture.
