Job summary

Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Track Coach to support coaching staff in day-to-day and long-term athletic activities. Immediate starting date with part-time scheduling, reporting to the Athletic Director.

Responsibilities include assisting in program planning, guiding student-athletes, and ensuring safety during travel. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, pass background checks, and hold current first aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or progress toward GED as required by Kentucky law.
Criminal background check, AIDS awareness training, and current first aid/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Assist coaches in daily and long-range athletic activities.
Assist coaches in planning the athletic program.
Conduct learning experiences with small groups of student athletes under the head coaches' direction.
Assist in guiding participants toward a harmonious team spirit.
Provide escort and supervision to athletes during team travel.
Recommend equipment, supplies, and uniforms for health and safety of athletes.
Perform other non-coaching duties as assigned by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
