Job summary

Manitou Springs School District is seeking a High School Swim Assistant Coach for Grades 9-12. The role supports the head coach, coordinates practice sessions, ensures safety, and fosters sportsmanship.

Coaching certification and fingerprinting are required or pursued; district bus certification may be needed; you will work with Athletic Director to schedule practices and supervise athletes. The position is 2 hours per day for a 90-day season, with compensation per the coaching salary schedule

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain CHSAA certification and applicable school certifications.
• fingerprint/background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees program levels.
• Coaches with head coach and AD to secure facilities for safe practice.
• Plan and communicate practice sessions and strategies with head coach.
• Coordinate in-season practice schedules with head coach and AD.
• Ensure compliance with D14 requirements including eligibility and conduct.
