Job summary

The Pleasant Hill School District is seeking a Full-Time Building Substitute for Pleasant Hill High School (Grades 9-12) for the 2026-2027 school year. Position type is Support Staff/Instructional Assistant with a 179-day calendar and a compensation rate of $18.57 per hour, with consideration based on experience.

Responsibilities include covering classes when teachers are absent, preparing lesson plans with administrator guidance when needed, maintaining student records, and assisting students

Qualifications

• DESE Substitute Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classes when a teacher is absent following lesson plans.
• Maintain records including grades, assignments and student progress for the teacher.
• Provide individualized and small group support as needed.
• Assist in front office or other areas of the building when not in a classroom.
• Other duties may be assigned.
