Job summary

Spanish River Church’s SRC High School Ministry is seeking a part-time Ministry Assistant to support coordinators and ministry teams. The role emphasizes building systems, planning events, and relational work with students, families, and volunteers in a high-energy church environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend SRC High Campus Night on Tuesdays and SRC Worship and Coffee Hour on Sundays.
• Lead set-up of Campus Night including rooms, parking lot, slides, and food ordering.
• Build, maintain and train volunteers and students in systems to accomplish ministry goals.
• Lead small groups as assigned by HS Coordinators.
• Participate in weekly Student Ministry meetings (plans, coordinates, sets schedules).
• Develop discipleship relationships with students, families and guests.
• Support administrative duties and coordinate with SRC High Admin Assistant.

Job description

The Ministry Assistant plays an integral role in supporting the SRC High Student Coordinators and the SRC High ministry. This role requires the ability to build systems, plan events, pay attention to detail, remain flexible with plans and work well with people. The role is part relational and part operational. This Is an in-person, in-office part-time role working 15 hours per week. A background screening and drug screening are required of all candidates offered employment.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (but are not limited to)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Attend SRC High Campus Night on Tuesdays and SRC Worship and Coffee Hour on Sundays.
• Lead set-up of Campus Night on Tuesdays including rooms, parking lot, slides, food ordering.
• Build, maintain and train volunteers and students in systems to accomplish ministry goals.
• Lead small groups as assigned by HS Coordinators.
• Participates in weekly Student Ministry meetings (plans, coordinates, sets schedules, offer suggestions for improvement)
• Develops discipleship relationships with students, families and guests.
• Support any and all Administrative duties as requested and work with SRC High Admin Assistant to insure all details are executed.
