Job summary

Illinois School District U46 is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coordinator responsible for developing a high-quality strength and conditioning program for student-athletes. This position includes implementing instructional strategies, maintaining safety, and supervising the fitness center.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree, relevant experience, and certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential for collaboration in supporting athletes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or comparable coursework/experience.
• Previous weightlifting/functional fitness/personal training experience required.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct in the fitness center before/after school.
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior.
• Design and supervise weight training and conditioning programs.
