Job summary

Oakland Unified School District is seeking an Athletic Coach to guide students in the designated sport. You will instruct, mentor, and help organize schedules for the season, ensuring safety and sportsmanship.

Attend required meetings and trainings, maintain knowledge of CIF policies and coaching best practices, and collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of coaching theory and safety in sports.
• Preference for current California teaching credential holders.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach students in the sport indicated.
• Help arrange playing schedules.
• Perform/assist in all coaching responsibilities for the position.
• Attend required meetings and trainings as specified by OAL.
