Job summary

The Hillsboro School District seeks a Speech Language Pathologist at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. This 1.0 FTE, 10-month temporary position supports students through screening, evaluation and targeted language services.

Responsibilities include designing intervention plans, collecting progress data and coordinating with families, teachers and staff. Applicants must hold an Oregon license or TSPC, CCC or CFY in progress, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Oregon Board or TSPC license.
• CCC from ASHA or equivalent qualification.
• Master’s degree in SLP or related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work with diverse students and staff.
• Proficient in English, oral and written.
• Proficient with computer and Internet applications.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• CCC or CFY candidate

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and identify eligible students for speech and language services.
• Design and implement intervention strategies; collect performance data; maintain daily schedule.
• Provide information relative to communication disorders to students, parents, teachers and others.
