Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• State Certified in Special Education with HQ status in assigned areas
• Certification in at least two areas of Exceptional Education preferred
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Ability to collaborate with regular education teachers, parents, and administrators

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and conducts Parent and student conferences.
• Delivers instruction using school-approved modalities and supports inclusion.
• Assists with developing and implementing IEPs with measurable goals.
• Maintains IEPs, quarterly reports, and progress monitoring data.
• Proctors standardized tests and completes progress reports quarterly.
• Communicates with teachers and administrators; participates in weekly team meetings.
