Job summary

Littleton Public Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher at Heritage High School to support students in a Learning Support Services setting. Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must be properly licensed for assignment as a Professional Educator in Colorado.
• Ability to develop IEPs, coordinate services and work with families and district staff.
• Experience with inclusive practices and related service providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and assessments for students with special needs.
• Monitor progress, adapt instruction, and use accommodations to support access to learning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Maintain records and participate in district meetings and professional learning.
