Job summary

Harmony Public Schools' Harmony Science Academy - Dallas High (9-12) is seeking a dedicated educator to implement engaging instruction aligned with school standards and the Portrait of a Harmony Graduate. The teacher will design lessons, monitor progress, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs while maintaining a positive classroom community.

Collaboration with families and ongoing professional growth are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

Models and instills a love of learning.
Designs and implements instruction aligned with school standards and student needs.
Plans, prepares, and delivers lesson plans and materials that maximize engagement.
Uses diverse instructional approaches to meet individual student needs.
Instructs and monitors students in learning materials and equipment.
Utilizes technology to support and differentiate instruction.
Conducts tutoring sessions to meet students’ needs.
Attends meetings and participates in staff development.
