Job summary

Tulsa Honor Academy (THA) is seeking a dedicated Teacher to advance a standards-aligned curriculum and improve instructional practices based on feedback. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support scholars’ academic success in a college-preparatory program.

Core commitments emphasise a positive climate, rigorous content, structure, and teamwork. The role includes developing IEPs, maintaining documentation, and participating in required meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Oklahoma special education certification or standard certification with acquisition within one year.
• Subject area certification preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in a school serving a similar population is preferred.
• Charter school experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Classroom duties include implementing standards-aligned curriculum with ongoing improvement based on feedback.
• Maintain accurate documentation and minutes for IEPs and related meetings.
• Develop and implement IEPs and coordinate with teachers and site leaders.
• Attend and/ or lead MEEGS, REDS, and IEP meetings for scholars and ensure compliance tasks are completed.
• Follow THA’s academic calendar and full-time exempt responsibilities.
