Responsibilities

• Classroom Culture: a Teacher ensures scholars are full participants in a structured, productive and safe learning environment.
• Ambitious Content: a Teacher ensures that scholars work with content that will best develop their understanding of ideas and skills essential to the course.
• Ownership and Engagement: a Teacher must ensure scholars are deeply engaged in the work.
• Demonstration of Learning: teachers monitor progress and ensure mastery through assessments.
• Commitment to Excellence: teachers collaborate, stay engaged and improve craft with coaching from the Instructional Manager.
