Chisago Lakes Area School District 2144 seeks a High School Special Education Teacher (ABS/DCD) for a full-time role at the High School. LICENSURE: DCD or ABS licensed; candidates not currently licensed may qualify to obtain licensure or an appropriate out-of-field permission.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs, providing specialized instruction, collaborating with general education teachers, and supporting students in academic, behavioral, and transition skills.

• Providing specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services.
• Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

• Supporting students in developing academic, functional, behavioral, and transition skills.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Creating a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
