Job summary

Learn4Life in Anaheim is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to deliver personalized instruction and develop IEP-based plans for a diverse student body. You will collaborate with parents and school staff to evaluate progress, adjust goals, and implement individualized supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
• Special Education credential with authorization for the assigned disability/level or intern eligibility is required.
• English Learner Authorization or eligibility to obtain EL Authorization is required.
• Autism Authorization is required or eligible to enroll in a Commission-approved program for the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement daily lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Conduct pre- and post-testing using standardized assessments for each student.
• Lead IEP meetings and coordinate 30-day reviews with families and staff.
• Provide direct student instruction and assessment within IEP timelines.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement interventions.
• Maintain documentation of communications and student records.
