Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE Special Education license for Moderate Disabilities (5-12) preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE Licensure in High School History/Social Science required.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts History and Social Science Curriculum Frameworks.
• Experience with students with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide History/Social Science instruction aligned with Massachusetts frameworks.
• Develop, monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
• Modify curriculum to support diverse learning profiles.
• Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive instructional practices.
• Integrate social-emotional learning and executive functioning supports.
• Collaborate with families, school districts, clinical providers, and residential staff.
