Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with students with special needs including autism, ADHD, and emotional support.
• Paraprofessional/ Highly Qualified status required.
• Background check and fingerprint screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct instruction for a classroom of students with varying needs as directed by staff.
• Support classroom management and assist with handling of student movement and lifting.
• Help devise strategies for meeting student needs, IEP requirements, and program goals.
• Prepare materials as prescribed by teachers or lesson plans.
• Implement behavioral plans and safety protocols as trained.
• Address identified physical needs including toileting, feeding, therapy, and transport.
