Paylocity is seeking a part-time High School Spanish Teacher to design and deliver engaging Spanish lessons for middle and high school students at WSCA HS Campus, reporting to the High School Principal.

You will foster language proficiency, cultural understanding, and a love for Hispanic culture while maintaining a classroom environment that supports academic and spiritual growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Spanish, or a related field required.
  • Appropriate state teaching certification or licensure, or willingness to obtain, required.
  • Proficiency in the Spanish language, with native or near-native fluency preferred.
  • Previous experience in teaching middle and high school students, with a focus on language education preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to creating an intellectually stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in educational technology for instructional purposes.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As a High School Spanish Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the academic development of middle and high school students. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging Spanish language lessons, fostering a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic culture, equipping students with language proficiency, and fostering the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual growth of the student.
