Job summary

LEAD Public Schools is seeking a qualified High School Spanish Teacher to foster student achievement and equity in a high-performing urban Tennessee environment. You will design rigorous Spanish lessons, align with Tennessee standards, and collaborate with peers to support students who need the most help.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and a Tennessee teaching license (or transferable out-of-state license) with Spanish endorsement, plus a willingness to grow professionally and work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Must have valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate content endorsement to teach Spanish, or a valid out-of-state license transferrable to Tennessee within 90 days, or be on track to certification in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous unit plans and lessons with clear objectives and assessments.
• Participate in bi-weekly coaching meetings to improve content, moves, and classroom management.
• Collaborate with grade levels, content teams, and professional development throughout the year.
• Perform school-based duties such as student conferences, arrival/dismissal, transitions, lunch duty, and other assigned tasks.
