Job summary

Mid-Prairie High School is seeking a softball coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will instruct athletes in fundamental softball skills, strategy, and conditioning to help achieve individual and team success.

The role requires modeling positive behavior and fostering character development, self-discipline, confidence, and pride of accomplishment in student athletes.

Qualifications

• 1. Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• 2. Must have or be able to obtain a coaching license.
• 3. Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of softball.
• 4. Serve as a positive role model through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

The applicantmust be able to instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to sociallyacceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride ofaccomplishment in the student athletes.
