Job Description

Mid-Prairie High School is seeking a softball coach for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for someone that can instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical trainingnecessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. The applicantmust be able to instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to sociallyacceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride ofaccomplishment in the student athletes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Must have or be able to obtain a coaching license
• The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.
• The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through theirinstructions and actions.
