Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Social Sciences, Political Science, Government, Economics, or related field.
- Arizona Teaching Certificate in History, Social Studies, Secondary Education, or related field, or ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and support students in history, government, civics, economics, research, source analysis, writing, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily on-site instruction and academic support in Social Sciences and History through 1-on-1 and small-group learning sessions.
- Develop historical knowledge, civic understanding, research, source analysis, evidence-based writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Guide students through coursework including U.S. History, World History, Government, Civics, Economics, and honors-level Social Sciences.
